Ford completely redesigned the Ranger for the 2019 model year. The 2020 Ford Ranger is a refinement of that new design with the biggest change being the broadening of the standard equipment. XL - 2020 Ford Ranger

The Ford Ranger at Napa Ford Lincoln comes in two cab-box configurations: the SuperCrew with a 5-foot bed and a SuperCab with a 6-foot bed. Both can seat up to five, and both are available with the base XL and up. The powertrain is the same across the board: a 10-speed automatic transmission and 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but four-wheel drive is available at every trim level. The base wheel size is 16 inches, and there is a 17-inch option. The base infotainment setup has a 4.2-inch color display. The base Ford Co-Pilot360 package includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking. Other notable equipment includes vinyl upholstery, air conditioning, Wi-Fi hotspot and four-speaker audio.

XLT - 2020 Ford Ranger in Napa

The XL also has two notable packages available: the 101A group and the expanded Co-Pilot360 group. The XLT builds on the XL by including both in the sticker price. This includes upgrading the infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, SYNC 3 and a six-speaker sound system. The Co-Pilot360 group included here builds on the XL package with a blind-spot information system and a reverse sensing system. The interior is upgraded with a dual-zone automatic climate control system, premium cloth upholstery and color-coordinated carpeted flooring. The base wheels are 17 inches. There is an 18-inch wheel option, and in both cases, you have various finishes and design to pick from.

Lariat - 2020 Ford Ranger in Napa CA

There are some notable optional packages available for the XLT—301A, 302A and Technology—and the Lariat distinguishes itself from the XLT by including all three in the sticker price. The 301A adds power-folding side mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering and an appearance package that enhances the Ranger inside and out. You have three options: Black, Chrome and Sport. The 302A group includes 301A and adds heated and power-adjustable front seating and remote engine start. The Technology package, which requires either 301A or 302A, adds cruise control, front parking sensors and an integrated navigation system. The Lariat also upgraded the upholstery to leather and the headlights to LED. An optional 501A packages adds premium 10-speaker audio and other technologies.

Note: The FX2 and FX4 are not distinct trims but rather branded packages that can be added to the XL, XLT and Lariat. The FX2 package is for 4x2 models and features an upgraded suspension, 17- or 18-inch wheels and special badging. The FX4 package is for 4x4 models, and it includes equipment similar to the FX2 but also skid plates, bash plates, power-assisted steering and a terrain management system.
