The powertrain is arguably the most exciting aspect of any 2024 Ford Mustang review. A six-speed manual transmission will continue to be standard, but you’ll have the option of a 10-speed automatic. Ford will continue to use the turbocharged four-cylinder for the base models but promises improvements, including better fuel efficiency. The GT models will get the 5.0-liter Coyote V8, and Ford has promised improvements over the 450 hp and 410 lb.-ft. provided last year. Above the GT, models will have enhancements that push the horsepower output beyond what the GT delivers.

Adaptive cruise control and navigation is option, and we wouldn’t be surprise if a HUD is optional too.
