The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning is now available at Napa Ford in four core trims: Pro XLT Lariat Platinum, and one of the most common questions we get is whether the trim level dictates range and other aspects of performance. The answer is no, not necessarily. What dictates range is which battery pack you choose, and that may be determined or affected by the trim level you choose.
All 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning trims have dual electric motors. When paired with the standard-range battery, that powertrain provides 452 horsepower and 230 miles of EPA-estimated range. When paired with the extended-range battery, it provides 580 hp and 300 miles. The Pro, XLT, and Lariat trims all come with the standard-range battery pack. The Platinum comes with an extended-range battery pack, and you can add the extended-range battery pack to the XLT and Lariat trims as an option but not the Pro. Visit us near Sonoma CA.
